A routine is easier to keep when every step has a purpose. Start with the basics, keep your shelf manageable, and give yourself time to notice how your skin responds.
Begin gently
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser. Use lukewarm water and your fingertips rather than scrubbing, then rinse and pat dry with a soft towel. Choose products intended for your skin type.
Make room for moisture and sun protection
Choose a moisturizer that suits your skin and follow its label. For daytime sun protection, the AAD recommends a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Reapply according to its directions and combine it with shade and protective clothing.
Give your routine some breathing room
A beautiful shelf does not need to be crowded. Keep a simple note of what you use and when, so your routine feels deliberate rather than rushed. If you add a serum or cream from the NSA collection, read that specific product’s packaging first: the product form alone does not tell you its ingredients, application order or frequency.
Persistent irritation or a skin concern deserves individual advice from a qualified dermatologist.
